Minister of National Defense
Major General Pilot (Ret.) Michel Menassah
Major General Pilot (Ret.) Michel Menassah was born on November 23, 1952. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1975 with a Bachelor’s Degree in military studies. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and an operational Pilot License on Alouette III helicopters. After a distinguished career, he retired in 2011. In February 2025, he was appointed as Minister of National Defense. He is married and has two children.

وُلِد وزير الدفاع الوطني اللواء الركن الطيار المتقاعد ميشال منسَّى في بيروت - لبنان في 23 تشرين الثاني 1952 والتحق بالكلية الحربية عام 1972 بعد حصوله على شهادةٍ في الحقوق. تخرَّج من الكلية الحربية عام 1975 برتبة ملازم طيار بعد حصوله على إجازة ضابط عملاني على الطوافات من نوع Alouette III (AL III). أحيل إلى التقاعد في العام 2011 وعُيّن وزيراً للدفاع الوطني في شهر شباط من العام 2025. هو متزوج ولديه ولدان.
